Loved her with all his hate......Hit her with every passion of cruelty......Beautified her body with bruises.......Broken but determined as if she was whole.......When her heart ran out...... she loved with her soul....HURT, but couldn't leave him if she tried......BUT, he still didn't get it. .......Never would........As he poked her body with pieces of wood.......Cursed her into hurtful positions.......And weakened her already broken heart.........Her stillness made him wish,Wish that she could transfer from his wife to a picture........But he failed to realize.......No matter how much you edit a picture,It will never come to life..........And as his solitary tears cry out of his personal cell.........SHE now hangs on his wall
This poem is very important dealing with The Norfolk Review because it was the winner out of all the poems that was entered into the published journal of The Norfolk Review and it was read at the event.
